Ideological Test for Immigrants – Says Donald Trump

A rough sketch on how Donald Trump will implement his proposed changes on immigration has been chalked out by the Republican presidential candidate. Here is brief look on what this sketch looks like.
The proposal was uncovered during a speech in Ohio. Plan number one is to put a temporary halt on the issuing visas to countries that have links with terrorists. The second plan is to put up an ideological test for all those who are entering the United States.
Mr. Trump has not yet decided as to which countries are including in this list. He only mentioned that he will talk to the department of homeland security to pinpoint regions where sufficient screening of individuals is not done.
The issue of immigration has been with Donald Trump from the moment he started promotion for his presidential nomination. First time he raised eyebrows across the globe, was through his proposal to ban all Muslims from immigration to United States.
This statement from Trump had all the features to raise hue and cry. The business tycoon stated that the main aim of his proposals is to put an end to the terrorist organizations that are there. He also added that he is open to work along with countries who share the same opinion with him.
The ideological test about which Trump is talking about will be designed to analyze people on the basis of their perception towards religion, gender equality and gay rights. He also wants authorities to check the social media accounts of the concerned person and interviews of the friends and family members should also be conducted to ascertain the credibility of the person.
In his efforts to suppress immigration, Donald Trump should not forget that immigrants have always contributed towards the positive growth of USA. There are many big projects that are currently being run through funds received from EB-5 visa immigration program.
You can apply for EB-5 business immigration program through expert assistance from WWICS. They have the expertise and experience which will ease out the process of immigration through USA B-5 program.

Visitors from Visa Exempt Countries to Submit Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

We are not sure whether Donald Trump will be able to go ahead with his plan to implement ideological tests for immigrants, but Canada is all set and ready to implement a screening test for a certain group of visitors that are entering the country.
The rule is applicable on visitors flying to Canada from visa exempt countries. This rule is not applicable on countries that need to obtain Canada permanent residency. This screening test is called the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) and it is mandatory for every person who wants to visit Canada and is travelling through air.
The objective of this screening test is to act against terrorism. An individual who wants to visit Canada and is a resident of visa exempt country than has he or she has to designate an individual a party of person who can fill the eTA application on their behalf.
Individuals who are resident of non visa exempt country will have to apply a proper tourist visa during which process proper screening is done. This new rule has been implemented with the objective to put a check on terrorism that is plaguing the world.
What is an eTA?
The objective of putting eTA system in place is to make it stress free for visitors coming from visa exempt countries. During this screening process, a visitor has to fill out an online application form before he or she takes a flight to Canada.
The short online form will ask questions on the medical history, criminal background if any of the person and history of immigration. The prospective visitor is also supposed to specify his or her passport number.
An individual has to apply for permanent residency visa for Canada, in case he or she wants to settle permanently in Canada. On the other hand, an individual who is visiting Canada from visa exempt country is only allowed to stay for a specified period of time.
The best consultant who can assist you in obtaining permanent residency for Canada is WWICS, which is a reputed and experienced global resettlement service provider.

Improve Your Score in Comprehensive Ranking System for Canada Immigration

The government of Canada changed the immigration system from a first-come first-serve basis to creating a pool of eligible candidates. The new system was brought into force from January 2015. The candidates in this pool are ranked under the comprehensive ranking system (CRS) and are sent invitation to apply (ITA).
An aspiring immigrant should be aware of on how to present his or her candidature to score maximum points in this system. It is just not enough to gain an entry in the Express Entry pool; the score should be good enough to be picked up for sending the invitation to apply.
Factors that Effect Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)
The CRS points are awarded based on the level of education an applicant has, the age of the applicant, work experience, proficiency in English and / or French, whether the applicant has a job offer from a Canadian employer or has a nomination from any of the provinces in Canada.
There are combinations of factors that are award points including the accompanying common-law / conjugal partner or spouse. The comprehensive ranking system (CRS) has 1200 points in total of which 600 points are given if the applicant has a job offer from a Canadian employer or has a nomination from a province.
It is worth noting here that an applicant can work to increase the points that he or she can achieve in the CRS. For example, a two year work experience will give 25 points, whereas a three year work experience will give an additional 25 points.
There are, however, certain factors that remain stagnant and cannot be changed. It is important to score high if you want to be selected to apply for Canada’s permanent residency.
You can get your visa application file prepared from the world no1 resettlement service provider WWICS. Starting from evaluation of your profile, to preparing of your visa application file and submitting your application and obtaining permanent residency of Canada, you will be assisted at every step by WWICS.
It is time now to realize your dream of becoming a permanent resident of Canada with expert guidance from WWICS.

Nova Scotia Gears Up to Accommodate Increased Immigration

Nova Scotia has seen an influx in the number of immigrants it has received this year. Although, there is a need for new immigrants in the province of Nova Scotia as the local population is aging fast, but this influx has caused concern for the authorities of the province.
The NDP has raised the red flag that more funds will be required to help accommodate these new number of immigrants. Julia Towers, the chief executive officer of the province for immigration office, has stated that the province has received 3,418 new immigrants up till now this year. This number is slightly more than what was received in the year 2015.
A major portion in this immigration has been taken by Syrian refugees. Towers made it clear that the province wants to achieve its annual target of new immigrants i.e. of 7,000. Now, Ottawa controls the immigration to this province, so in order to achieve the target the annual limit will have to be increased.
The budget for the province is increased every year by few hundred thousand. In the year 2016 – 17, 4.4 million dollars were allocated for the province, which was more than the 3.4 million dollars allocated in the year 2014 – 15.
Restructuring efforts are being made to ensure smooth facilitation of funds and proper resettlement of new immigrants in Nova Scotia.
However, more money is required to be allocated each year to happily settle new immigrant and to keep up with the current rate of development. There are two ways of obtaining permanent residency of Canada, first one is to apply through the express entry system and other is to obtain nomination under the provincial nominee program.
WWICS can help you decide which path is most suitable for you to obtain permanent residency of Canada. There are various technicalities involved in applying for immigration to Canada and without a helping hand from an immigration expert like WWICS, things can be really difficult.

US EB-5 Visa: Hire the Expert WWICS

Obtaining the green card of United States is one of the most prestigious things that can happen in the life of a person. However, there is no second thought that it is also the toughest things to make it happen.
Big Investment Biggest Benefits
One sure shot way to obtain the green card of America is through the EB-5 program. This program is more suitable for the wealthy as it calls for making an investment of $500,000 to $1 million in a business in America.
Your investment should be able to create ten additional jobs in the business. Merely making an investment is not sufficient as you are also supposed to take an active part in the working of the business. It is not necessary that you take the full responsibility on the working of the business.
Limitation on Green Cards Issued
There is a limitation on the number of green cards that are annually issued by America, which tops at 10,000. When this limitation is reached, applications are put on the waiting list. There is a limitation on the number of green cards that can be issued to a given country.
The good news is that, till this time the cap has never been reached. In the last few years, there has been a surge in the number of applications received from China for EB-5 visa. It is because of this reason Chinese investors have been put on waiting list. No other country has reached its cap in this category.
Hire the Expert WWICS
Hire the services of WWICS global resettlement service provider for EB-5 visa. If you think that you can make the investment that is required in EB-5 category than you should do it with expert assistance from WWICS.
EB-5 is one of the most difficult visas to apply for and needless to say it is one of the most expensive. The tricky part is that you make the investment before you get the green card. It will be beneficial for you to hire the services of WWICS if you want to apply for US EB-5 visa.

Half of Australian wants no Muslim Immigration

A poll was conducted in Australia recently. As per the results of the poll, 49% of Australians want to put a ban on Muslim immigration. On the other side of the globe, republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been proposing the same idea.
US President Barack Obama has strongly opposed this idea and wants to have better solution to the problem. Obama has stated that building a wall or closing the doors for a particular group will not solve the problem.
The results of the Essential Research pool were released on Wednesday, in which it has also been revealed that risk of terrorism has been the prominent reason given by people for this ban on Muslim immigration.
These people are of the belief that Muslims do not integrate well in the society and neither have they shared the Australian values.
This is not the first time that such a poll has been conducted. Back in August, almost the same results were received when the survey was carried out. The sample size of the poll was more than 1000 and it was carried out a week after the speech of Senator Hanson.
During the speech she proposed to impose a ban on the immigration of Muslims and to stop building Islamic schools and Mosques.
The republican US presidential hopeful had proposed the same thing when he started his election campaign. However, he has moved away from the topic with no direct remarks on Muslim immigration.
All this is quite unrepresentative of Australia, who has always welcomed immigrants with open arms. Numerous people have immigrated to Australia and have settled happily in the country.
Australia has also realized the importance of these immigrants and the economic benefits that are provided by them. There are numerous immigration visa programs that are run by the country.
In case you are willing to study, work or immigrate to Australia than you can take the expert assistance from WWICS, which is a world leader in global resettlement services. It has helped thousands of people to settle happily in Australia.

Major Changes Expected in Temporary Foreign Workers Program of Canada

Major changes to the current regulation in Foreign Temporary Workers Program (TFWP) are expected as government ministers of Canada meet to respond to committee’s report. A House of Commons committee was given the task to recommend any changes that are required to be made in the TFWP.
In the report submitted by committee some changes have been recommended such as making it easy for temporary foreign workers in Canada to become permanent resident of Canada. It has also been recommended by the committee to change the rule wherein a foreign worker was allowed to work with only one employer.
This rule gives undue power to the employer and as such, it has been found that foreign workers are being exploited and abused in majority of the cases. An employer who maintains a proper track record after hiring a foreign worker will be put in ‘trusted employer program’.
If the recommendations are put into force, then a temporary foreign worker will not be forced to leave Canada after the completion of four years.
After the report was put forward by the committee, the immigration minister of Canada, John McCallum and the minister of employment, workforce development and labor, Maryann Mihychuk, stated that the recommendations will be put into force within the legislative time period of 120 days.
Making changes in the regulation and putting them into force will not be a difficult task for the present government of Canada as the Liberal party has clear cut majority in the House and also in the committee.
The present government had promised these changes when it took to office and were long awaited. As and when these changes are put into force it will become easy for temporary workers to become the permanent resident of Canada.
Above all, these foreign workers will not be exploited by the employers. It will also become easy for an employer to hire a temporary foreign worker.
In case you are residing in Canada on a temporary basis and want more information on how to become a permanent resident of Canada than you can take the expert assistance from WWICS – a global resettlement service provider.

Canada Prepares to Relax Citizenship Regulations, Amends Citizenship Act

One more step has been taken by the Canadian government to confirm that it follows an open door policy and provides a warm welcome to people who immigrate to the country. In the latest move, the Canadian House of Commons has passed the changes in the legislation of citizenship act.
The fast moving and efficient government of Canada presented the bill on the very same day in the Senate. The Canadian government was in a hurry to pass this bill as it wanted to give this bill and serve it as a present to the world on the Canada Day.
Making changes in the citizenship act is an important aspect in the legislative agenda of the present government. There are many changes that are being proposed by the government, the prominent among them are:
  • Apply for Citizenship Early - Reduction in the number of years that are required to apply for Canadian citizenship. At present a permanent resident of Canada has to stay for 4 – 6 years before citizenship can be applied. This number will go down to 3 – 5 years in the new changes.

  • Good News for Temporary Residents - Immigrants on temporary resident visa, including student visa and study permit can now apply for citizenship early. A portion of the number of time period spend by them in Canada will be counted towards the 3 year requirement.

  • Repeal Intent to Reside - The third important change that has taken place is the provision for intention to reside. In the changes that are being proposed in the new bill this provision will be repealed.

  • Relaxation in Language Proficiency - Relaxation will be given to certain applicants as they will not be required to fulfill the language proficiency requirements.

  • Citizenship Revocation Repealed – As and when the proposed changes become effective, one of the most contentious issues of revocation of citizenship will be cancelled.
Canada has sealed its image as a country which does welcome immigrants with open arms. We all wish that these proposed changes become effective as a law soon. Planning to apply for Canada visa, contact the global resettlement service provider WWICS.

Canada Plans to Change Conditional Permanent Residency Provision

The government of Canada is plugging in loopholes in immigration to expedite the process and for faster integration of people in the country. One of the many changes proposed recently by the government is to remove the conditional permanent residency of Canada that is given to sponsored spouse.
As per the current regulations, conditional permanent residency status is being granted to the spouse who has been in marriage for two or less years and without children. After this status is obtained, the spouse has to stay together for another two years; else there is a chance of losing the status.

It has been quite some time since these changes are being planned. The governments of all the provinces were informed in May 2016 by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada of the changes that may take into effect.
The Forward Regulatory authority has put out some reasons as to why these changes are being asked to made. The main among these reasons is the vulnerability of the sponsored spouse and the problems that are associated with it.
When the proposed change in brought into force, it will be applicable on spouses who are living in Canada on conditional permanent resident status, along with on those applications that are being processed at present and applications that will be presented in future.

Protection for Vulnerable Newcomers
It has been noted by the government of Canada that spouses who are living in the country on conditional permanent residence have faced domestic abuse at the hands of the sponsor. The regulation for conditional permanent residence was brought into force on October 25, 2012.
More than 58,000 people have been granted conditional permanent residence of Canada since then.
This news comes as a breath of fresh air for thousands of immigrants who are living in Canada on conditional PR. They will now be able to live a better life and enjoy equal rights in the country.
In case you wish to know more on how you can immigrate to Canada, feel free to contact WWICS, a world leader in global resettlement services.

Candidates with Provincial Nomination Issued Invitation to Apply in November 30 Express Entry Draw

Canadian immigration authorities have carried out their first draw after the latest changes in the Express Entry System have come into force.
It is worth noting here that a significant number of candidates with provincial nomination certificate have been granted the invitation to apply (ITA). These candidates will now be in a position to apply for permanent residency of Canada.

It is not necessary that, to enter the Express Entry pool or to be found worthy for ITA, a candidate is not required to have a provincial nomination.

Ever since the Express Entry system has come into force, it has happened for the first time that a large number of candidates with provincial nomination have been selected. A provincial nomination is a certificate issued by a province in Canada through its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

It was only in February 2015, that a program-specific draw took place. At that time, candidates who were eligible as per the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were sent the Invitation to Apply.
On other occasions, except for the above two, candidates were sent the Invitation to Apply only on the basis of their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score; regardless of the program they may be eligible.
Representatives from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada were there at the Annual Immigration law Summit that was held in Toronto, and they indicated that upcoming draws may be program specific.
The Express Entry draw that took place on November 30, is the 48th one ever since the program has been launched in January 2015. A mere 559 candidates have been used the ITA, which is quite lower as compared to the draw that took place before that. The CRS cut off list was at 786.
Aspiring immigrants should note here that candidates with provincial nomination are given 600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System. In the latest draw, candidates who obtained a low score of 186 points were sent the Invitation to Apply.
Core CRS score are the points obtained by a candidate without adding the points obtained by a qualifying job offer or a provincial nomination.
This fact should give high hopes to people who are wishing and preparing to become a permanent resident of Canada.

A Brief Look on PNPs

2016 has been a big year for the Provincial Nominee Programs as the Express Entry system is sending more immigrants to these provinces. 2015 had not been as promising in this aspect as only 13% candidates who were issued an ITA in the Express Entry had provincial nomination certification.

The first nine months of the current year had been much better as the share has gone up to 23%. At a moment’s notice, these streams may change, open or reopen and thus it will benefit candidates who have maintained an updated profile in the Express Entry pool and are ready with their documents for submission.
Many of the documents required to apply for Express Entry and Provincial Nomination Program are the same. In the recent weeks and months, provinces in western Canada had been more active. British Columbia is encouraging more international graduates and skilled workers to apply for British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).

As per news, nearly 2,700 candidates from the Express Entry pool are been called to apply for BC PNP. The Express Entry sub-category – International Skilled Worker program of Saskatchewan works bit differently and operates on first-come, first-serve basis.

There is a specific in-demand occupation list in this sub-category and ever since its introduction last year it has reopened on nearly eight occasions. At times, the application intake cap was reached within days and even hours.

This means that aspiring immigrants need to be prepared before hand in order to reap maximum benefit as the program opens up. Manitoba was not to be left behind as it has been quite active with its Skilled Workers Overseas sub-category.

A number of Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) were issued by the government of Manitoba under its Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). On an average, a draw was held every month.

Throughout this year in 2016, various territories and provinces across Canada have given provincial nomination certificates. In all likelihood many provinces are in plans to re-open or launch dedicated PNP streams in the coming time.

For complete solution on how you can immigrate and settle in Canada happily contact the leading resettlement service provider WWICS.

2017 Canada’s Parents and Grandparents Program will Open with New Application Process

A new processing system has been devised for the famous Parent and Grandparent Program (PGP) for immigrating to Canada. Under the new system potential applicants can register to show their interest. They can submit their application as and when they are invited to do so by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Through PGP, permanent residents and citizens of Canada can sponsor their grandparents and parents to immigrate to Canada as permanent residents.

Canadian residents will be required to fill an online form to show their interest that they want to sponsor their grandparents and parents. This form will be available for a period of 30 days starting from January 3, 2017 to February 2, 2017 from 12 pm EST.

Once this period is over, 10,000 individuals will be randomly invited by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to submit their application. A notification will be sent to all the individuals who submitted their form online as to whether they are invited or not.

Individuals who do not get the invitation can submit their interest again in 2018. A time period of 90 days will be given to all the invited candidates to submit their application, along with all the supporting documents.
Supporting documents that an individual will be required to submit will range from documents related to civil status, income taxation records, and more. Starting from January 9, 2017, application guide and kit will be available online.

It’s not First-Come, First-Served
The most recent intake in PGP took place in January 2016 and within three days more than 14,000 people submitted their application. In this intake, the first 10,000 application were picked up for processing.
It was noticed that applicants paid large sum of money to couriers so that their application can reach the destination at the earliest. Many people descried this process as lottery and it is because of this reason in 2017 applications will be picked randomly.
Just like it has happened before, it is expected that for the coming 2017 application cycle, the number of applications submitted will outnumber the number of invitations available.
Make sure you are prepared in the right manner to submit your application. Take the expert guidance from WWICS and get the right and genuine guidance.

Number of Removal Orders Issued to Canadian Immigrants Doubled in Six Years

Canada is known for its welcoming policies for immigrants. Big annual targets are being set by Canada in the recent past to meet its shortage of labor and professional workforce.

Thousands of immigrants have settled happily in Canada and have provided a better future for their family. These immigrants in return have contributed in the development of the economy.
However, the hospitable nature of Canada should not be mistaken that anyone and everyone is welcomed in this country.

Canada follows strict rules when it comes to who enters their country. It might come as a surprise that every year removal orders are issued by Canada to immigrants who do not fulfill the immigration requirements.
The number of removal orders issued to Canadian immigrants has almost doubled from 2008 to 2014. What is more, the success rate of appeals made in the court is less than 10%.

When is Removal Order Issued?
A removal order to a Canadian immigrant is issued when it is found that the person has breached any regulation of the Immigration and Refugees Protection Act (IRPA).
The admissibility of an immigrant is judged by a border officer at the port of entry. In case any discrepancy is found, the border officer will refer such an individual to an immigration officer for further questioning.
The immigration laws of Canada give permission to permanent resident to live in the country once they have obtained their permanent residency status, even in case there is non-compliancy.
However, a report will be issued to such individuals that will ultimately turn into a removal order. These residents enjoy their permanent residency status till the time a final determination is made on the loss of status.

A total of 605 removal orders were issued in 2008 on grounds of non-compliance and in the year 2014, a total of 1413 immigrants have received the removal order.
Immigrating to your dream country Canada is not easy. There are numerous requirements that need to be fulfilled. If you want to make sure that you do not get in any such kind of problem, than you apply with a globally renowned immigration consultant WWICS.
